It seems I can always find a few empty narrow walls begging to be adorned with art. These colorful florals in my Verticals series of seasons fill them perfectly at 16” wide. Four sets of three share a triad of color for each season.
Grounded and contemplative, this piece captures a quiet, late-summer warmth. Celebrate the seasons with golden-hued wildflowers and delicate reeds that stretch through soft ochre light, anchored by a rich, curvaceous plum-toned vase

This might be my favorite. A poetic nod to seasonal shifts. Warm copper and gold autumn foliage rises gracefully from a sleek orange cylinder vase, illuminated by a soft, atmospheric turquoise background.

This one would look great in a cabin, warehouse loft, or any warm space. Electric blue, texturized flora erupts from an earthy blue vessel, set against a fiery, multi-tonal backdrop of textured red and orange over a rustic brick surface.

The faceted planes of fractured rock popped in sun-drenched yellows, deep magentas, and rich plums which drew the eye upward toward stark, branching birch trees framing a shifting, multi-toned sky.

Hubby is driving. I am zoning out watching the forest passing by while the wheels click-click on the highway at 60MPH. I grab my camera and start clicking. This is what I saw. Some may just see bare trees and random foliage, but there’s more. So much color!
A poetic look at the intricate geometry of nature. Slender, dark tree limbs stretch upwards, weaving a web against a stained-glass sky of soft lavenders and pale blues, anchored by a rich carpet of brilliant orange foliage below.

The sound of crushed gravel under my shoes reminds me of walking through a campsite with my mom when I was 4 years old. And the crunch-crunch of leaves and acorns make me want to play football with my brothers again. Those are the sounds that inspired this painting. Kaleidoscope series.
Find yourself in an immersive journey through a brilliant autumn path. Warm, glowing canopies of orange and crimson protect the walkway, creating a striking contrast of cool structure and the fiery forest. You can hear the leaves at your feet!
